The Lord's Supper (Breaking of Bread)

Our memorial service commences at 11.30am. This meeting is a weekly celebration of the life, death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is our regular opportunity to strengthen and encourage, to exhort and to worship. The service is plain and simple and includes praise, prayer, Bible reading, the simple sharing together of the emblems, and exhortation.

All of our members take part, sharing the emblems of bread and wine, joined together by our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and our common understanding of God's plan and purpose. This is a precious fellowship that we share with every Christadelphian ecclesia throughout the world, and anybody who is a member of an ecclesia is welcome to join with us in this celebration, wherever they have come from. Our praise is always reverential, and we use a range of material from our shared Hymn Book and Praise The Lord for the benefit of all.

Every first Sunday of the month, we will stay on at the hall for a shared lunch, followed by the distribution of our monthly newsletter within the local community. Every third Sunday of the month, we will stay on at the hall for a shared lunch, followed by our prayer meeting under the guidance of the ecclesial prayer secretary. This is always well-attended and we have been excited to learn of ways in which God responds to our prayers during the year.
